How Much Will This Cost?
As with any new project it is difficult to cost out without details of the content required for the web site. We like to think that our prices are hard to beat. As a general rule a small business with an average of five pages would take around 8 hours to complete and this at a cost of £30 an hour. Any time spent taking photographs would be additional to this but still chargeable at the same rate. If text is already written in a word document then this would reduce the time but we do like to spend a lot of effort on the design of the site so that it reflects the business that is being advertised. We are, after all, the web site with the personal touch!
Domain Name & Hosting
Before a web site can be designed you have to agree on a name for the site, generally these come with an extension of either .com or .co.uk although there are lots of other extensions that can be used. The cost of this can start from around £8 per year. In addition to this there is a monthly or annual charge to a host and this cost can be from as little as £2.50 per month depending on the offers around at the time. The hosting allows you to rent the Internet space and store all of your data on a server. We can register the domain name for you but the hosting will need to be organised by you as they will need your banking details, however, we can help you with this.
